The biggest Roman Amphitheatre outside of Rome and a great place to sit and have your sandwiches whilst on a tour round the walls. Very busy sunbathing spot in the summer months amongst the locals on their lunch break

The roman amphitheatre in Chester is the largest of its kind remaining in the UK. located just outside the roman City walls, come & stand where mighty warriors once stood & faced each other almost two thousand years ago & imagine the roars of the hundreds of spectators in the seats surrounding them.
