I strongly recommend you to have Soba noodle around with having historical atmosphere surround!

Jindaiji is the second oldest temple in Tokyo. This place is great for the surrounding features, a small river, many amazing soba shops and a huge botanical gardens at 5mn walk.

If you think Asakusa is too touristy, Jindaiji can be an alternative.
