Elaborately decorated tropical-themed cocktail bar with weekday happy hours, located in a basement. "Best Bar in town. Unique environment and wonderful staff. Best choice if you find yourself downtown."

At Laka Lono, they treat rum like a nectar from the Gods and based on the fact that I have had every drink on the menu, I'm pretty sure it might be. The ambience is perfect and fun. The custom group drink bowls and stirrers and sea horse swing chairs and creatively named cocktails make you know how much the people who run this bar care. They love what they do want you to have a special and wonderful experience, and that's how going to a bar should be.
