This path is part of the historic new river that brought water into London, now a peaceful oasis for wildlife, trees including swamp cypress and dawn redwood. You can still see part of the original aqueduct, completed in 1613 along the path. Perfect for a quiet scenic walk through hidden neighbourhoods.
Just the loveliest hidden little river in London, full of ducks and squirrels. Have a pint or lunch at the Marquess Tavern, one of the nicest pubs in the area.
After many days of the hustle and bustle of city life, this New River walk can help you reconnect with fresh air and natural surroundings.
Go around for a run or a walk, bring a book and relax on one of the benches here along the small river. It's a corner of paradise that you wouldn't expect and that will surprise you!
