Great location and spacious Airbnb but terrible commuication.

Told John about the apartment not having internet saturday morning, he didnt reply to me until a few hours later, advising me to reset the modem, which i already did. He then waited until we came back from going out (evening) to call the internet provider again and they advised they wouldn't be able to fix the internet until the following day. He then stated he would cover the internet usage cost for the night but he didnt follow through with his word.

Having no Internet for the majority of our stay honestly ruined the trip. Due to Covid we were at the Airbnb for most of our stay and with no internet we couldnt stream movies or play video games (xbox). If only John replied sooner and called the provider when asked, the issue could've easily resolved. And on top of that, with his promise to reimburse us for our data usage, I added more data to our family plan with the assumption he would follow through with his promise. Definitely won't be staying here next time we come to Montreal for the Holidays. Extremely disappointed.

L'appartement est lumineux et très bien situé en plein cœur de la place des arts. Le quartier est calme. L'appartement a complètement été rénové. J'ai eu quelques inquiétudes lorsque j'ai vu l'extérieur et l'entrée de l'immeuble mais j'ai été agréablement surpris par l'appartement.
La communication et les échanges avec notre hôte ont été un peu compliqué. Le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que la notion de service est un point faible chez lui. Dommage car sinon cela serait parfait.

As someone who cooks I was impressed at how well stocked the kitchen was. Great location, open living space .
