This is a gorgeous beach off of Lake Erie, with a boating ramp, sand bar, a great BBQ place on the lake, The Breakwall. Definitely worth stopping. It is generally peaceful, even with the amount of people in the summer. There is also a D-Day Reenactment in August, one of the largest in the US.

The best beach in the area, in my opinion! Huge beach, lighthouse, playground, concession stand, restrooms, a gazebo, plenty of parking, paved walking trails, basketball courts, what more could you need for a day at the beach? My only complaint - it's not dog friendly (sorry).

The Beach! Only 2 mi away. Amazing views, great place to run, lay out, swim, and everything summer! Worlds largest WW2 re-enactment done here every August also.
